Follow the instructions below to increase the bubbles with your Crystal Sparkling Water Maker:

• If you haven't added flavor, try carbonating with one or two extra pumps by pushing down firmly on the carbonating button for around two seconds. Do not carbonate if flavours were added.
• Make sure the cylinder is tight enough and retighten if necessary by twisting the cylinder to the right.
• If you're still not getting enough bubbles and if you don't hear a sputtering sound when you press the carbonating button, you may be out of gas. You can get a new cylinder online or a participating retail location.

Follow the instructions below to get bubbling again with your Crystal Sparkling Water Maker:

• Make sure the cylinder is tight enough and retighten it if necessary by twisting the cylinder to the right.
• If you're still not getting bubbles and if you don't hear a sputtering sound when you press the carbonating button, you may be out of gas. You can get a new cylinder online or a participating retail location.
• Make sure the water in the glass carafe is filled up to the fill line and then try carbonating again:

1. Open the carbonating head by turning the lever to the right. The carbonating head will rise automatically.
2. Tilt the glass carafe flask forward, insert the glass carafe, and return the glass carafe flask to the upright position.
3. Push the carbonating head down, ensuring the carbonating tube goes inside the glass carafe. While holding the carbonating head down, turn the flask lever to the left to the locked position.
4. Carbonate by pushing down firmly on the carbonating button for around 2 seconds, releasing, and repeating -- 3 times for light fizz, 5 times for strong fizz, and more for extra strong fizz.
5. When you've reached the right carbonation level, gently unlock the carbonating head by turning the lever to the right.

Follow the below instructions to help stop your Crystal Sparkling Water Maker from overflowing:

• Make sure you are filling the glass carafe with water to the fill line only.
• Carbonate water only. Flavours should only be added after carbonation.
• Make sure you are using the 0.6L glass carafe with your Crystal Sparkling Water Maker. The Crystal is only compatible with the 0.6L glass carafe.
• Try reinserting your glass carafe and push the carbonating head down. Make sure the bottle flask is properly locked with the carbonating head and the carbonating tube is inside the glass carafe. Hold the carbonating head down and turn the flask lever left to the locked position to ensure safety.
• Make sure you're firmly pressing the carbonating button in short, two-second presses, releasing, and repeating --  3 times for light fizz, 5 times for strong fizz, and more for extra strong fizz.

*In 2020, we upgraded the Crystal Sparkling Water Maker with a new, silent valve. In these Sparkling Water Makers, it is normal to not hear a sputtering sound and is not an indication of the amount of CO2 left in the cylinder.
