As we continue to navigate through the challenges we are all facing from COVID-19, we wanted to share an update on how SodaStream is responding.

First and foremost, we are following the advice and precautions laid out by the Government and NHS, to ensure the safety and well-being of each and every one of our employees.

Your safety and wellbeing also remains our top priority. We are following the advice from the NHS to ensure that our direct to doorstep delivery service can continue safely, ensuring that your hydration needs can be met and delivered to you at home.

We also understand there may be questions or concerns, so our customer support team will continue to be available, to help assist during this troubling time.

 

How can I contact customer services?

Our support team is happy to assist you by phone on 0800 0858 373* or by email. We apologise if it's taking longer than usual to respond to your emails. We want to ensure all our customers receive our usual dedication, and we appreciate your patience.  We will get back to each and every one of you as soon as possible.

Can I still buy SodaStream products online?

Yes. We are following Government and NHS advice to ensure our direct-to-doorstep delivery service can continue safely, so you get all your hydration essentials right where you need them.

We are, from time to time, experiencing minor shipping delays in our warehouse, but the majority of our orders are still arriving within five working days from date of purchase. We thank you for your patience at this time.

Are all of the SodaStream products available to buy online still?

All of our Sparkling Water Makers are still available for purchase through SodaStream.co.uk, so that we can cater to your hydration needs. As we navigate the current situation, we are temporarily removing some accessories and flavours, however you can still purchase classic syrup flavours.

Can I still purchase SodaStream products in shops?

A number of our retailer partners continue to operate online, however as the situation regarding COVID-19 evolves, we advise that anyone looking to buy a SodaStream or related products, order directly at SodaStream.co.uk in order to meet their hydration needs.

How can I sanitise my SodaStream products to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19)?

We recommend using a mild liquid dish soap and soft damp cloth to gently clean your Sparkling Water Maker.

Once you have made a drink with your Sparkling Water Maker, we recommend pouring  the liquid from your carbonating bottle into a glass or another bottle to enjoy.

Make sure to check the warning label on your carbonating bottle for care information before cleaning. The label will let you know if your bottle is dishwasher safe. To clean your bottles, rinse with cold or lukewarm water. Use a mild liquid dish soap and a soft-bristled brush to clean.

If you are concerned about your carbonating cylinder, we recommend using disinfectant wipes that contain 70% alcohol to clean the valve of the cylinder before inserting it into the machine.

Is it safe to handle SodaStream products purchased from retailers?

The health and wellbeing of our consumers is top priority and we continue to work closely with authorities to ensure the safety of our supply chain and manufacturing locations around the world. While the Coronavirus is ascertained to spread mostly from person-to-person contact, our employees all over the world are working under strict guidelines, keeping all safety recommendations set out by the World Health Organization (WHO) and local governments to make it safer for you. Wherever possible, SodaStream has moved to a remote operating model, and in our factories and workplaces, we are tightening our safety procedures, such as checking employee temperatures, keeping employees on premises at a safer distance of 2 meters apart from one another, and providing gloves and masks for our production personnel. 

Did you know that 1 SodaStream cylinder makes up to 60L of sparkling water? Once you have a Sparkling Water Maker with a SodaStream C02 cylinder, you can enjoy bubbly drinks out of the comfort of your home, with fewer trips to the store!

What steps is SodaStream taking in their workplaces to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19)?

SodaStream cares deeply about our consumers and employees, and we are continuing to adhere to guidelines set out by the World Health Organization (WHO) and local governments. We are also taking additional measures to enforce safety, such as taking temperature at our factories and workplaces, and recommending that service and delivery personnel follow internal safety procedures (such as wearing gloves) when handling our product.

Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, there has been more demand than ever for “at-home” hydration solutions. At SodaStream our teams are working around the clock and are committed to safely providing you with an easy way to enjoy your bubbly drinks with fewer trips to the store.

Why are SodaStream’s warehouses still open?

Our warehouses remain open so that we can facilitate your hydration needs, helping you to keep healthy. The safety of our employees and customers remains our highest priority and we are adhering to Government and NHS advice to ensure a safe working environment.

How can SodaStream ensure my online delivery is sent to me safely?

Your safety remains of the utmost importance to us. All of our employees, including warehouse workers and delivery drivers, are following the advice and guidance set out by the Government and NHS to ensure a safe workplace.

What should I do if stores are not accepting my empty C02 cylinders for exchange?

Due to the current situation, some of our retail locations are no longer accepting empty cylinders for gas exchange.  These are uncertain times, but we expect that all retail exchange will get back to bubbling shortly.

Many retail locations are still selling spare cylinders, and we recommend purchasing a spare cylinder or 2 so you can stay home and enjoy bubbles with fewer trips to the store.

For your convenience, SodaStream C02 spare cylinders can be purchased and C02 can also be exchanged online at SodaStream.co.uk.

SodaStream C02 cylinders can still be exchanged at limited retail locations.  Based on our current knowledge of retailer availability, we are continuing to update the store locator found on our website.
