Follow the instructions below to increase the bubbles with your Genesis Sparkling Water Maker:
  • If you haven't added flavor, try carbonating with one or two extra pumps by pushing down firmly on the carbonating button for around two seconds. Do not carbonate if flavors were added.
  • Make sure the cylinder is tight enough and retighten if necessary by twisting the cylinder to the right.
  • If you're still not getting enough bubbles and if you don't hear a sputtering sound when you press the carbonating button, you may be out of gas. You can get a new cylinder through our online exchange program or a participating retail location.

Follow the below instructions to get bubbling again with your Genesis Sparkling Water Maker:
  • Make sure the cylinder is tight enough and retighten it if necessary by twisting the cylinder to the right.
  • If you're still not getting bubbles and if you don't hear a sputtering sound when you press the carbonating button, you may be out of gas. You can get a new cylinder through our online exchange program or a participating retail location.
  • Make sure the water in the carbonating bottle is filled up to the fill line and then try carbonating again:
    1. Twist the bottle into the machine by turning it to the right.
    2. Carbonate by pushing down firmly on the carbonating button for around 2 seconds, release, and repeat -- 3 loud buzzes will produce a standard fizz, additional presses will produce a stronger fizz.
    3. When you've reached the right carbonation level, gently pull the bottle towards you and twist it to the left to remove.

How do I get my Genesis to stop leaking water?

Follow the below instructions to help stop your Genesis Sparkling Water Maker from overflowing:
  • Make sure you are filling the carbonating bottle with water to the fill line only.
  • Carbonate water only. Flavors should only be added after carbonation.
  • Make sure your bottle is compatible with your Sparkling Water Maker. The Genesis is compatible with the 0.5L carbonating bottle (My Only Bottle), the 1L classic carbonating bottle, and the 1L classic dishwasher-safe bottle.
  • If your bottle feels loose, remove and reinsert it.
  • Make sure you're firmly pressing the carbonating button in short, two-second presses, releasing, and repeating --  3 loud buzzes will produce a standard fizz, additional presses will produce a stronger fizz.
